Description
This free form azurite with chrysocolla matrix cabochon was donated by Scott Schmir and measures 34mm x 18mm. Azurite is a soft, deep blue copper mineral produced by weathering of copper ore deposits, and chrysocolla is a copper stone often found in associate with azurite and malachite. This azurite with chrysocolla cabochon contains a deep blue pigment and streaks of bright green.
