Two rough slabs ready for work! Obsidian is a hard, dark, glasslike volcanic rock formed by the rapid solidification of lava. A type of obsidian, Mahogany obsidian is known for its reddish-brown and black colors, which creates a wood-like appearance. The mahogany obsidian slab measures 12cm X 7cm and the obsidian slab measures 7cm X 8cm.
