This orange/red/brown crazy lace agate was donated by Darrel Krug and measures 31mm x 43mm. Crazy Lace Agate is known for its intricate layers of creamy browns, black and grays, and is a variety of banded Chalcedony, a mineral of the Quartz family. This cabochon is polished and convex-cut on one side and flat on the other, giving it a “domed” appearance that highlights its wavy, eccentric patterns. This beautiful crazy lace agate was handmade by a beloved and longtime member of the Glendora Gems Lapidary Club.
