This tumbled amethyst stone is a perfect pocket rock. Amethyst crystal is one of several varieties of quartz, and with a hardness of 7 on the Mohs scale, it is a steady, durable stone. Amethyst is known for its lavender to violet shade and is made up of silicon dioxide. This tumbled amethyst stone was donated by Jack Lund and measures 13mm x 27mm.
